Сareer - Social Media Specialist Role
We are growing rapidly and are looking for a passionate and experienced in e-commerce Social Media Specialist to join our Woodford Green office team. As a social media specialist, you will be responsible for organic and paid social media on various platforms, ensuring high web traffic and customer engagement. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.
About the role:
- Have a general awareness of what the competition is doing in the building materials field
- Scope out new ideas on how to target consumers effectively
- Identifying trends in customer interactions and planning digital campaigns to build community online
- Monitor the impact and success of social media, reporting on the effectiveness of the campaigns to maximise results
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
- Set specific objectives and report on ROI
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news)
- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
- Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure brand consistency
- Communicate with followers and respond to queries in a timely manner
- Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
- Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
- Set up and monitor Commerce Manager
About You:
- You are a proven SM specialist with a minimum 2-year experience in e-commerce
- You have experience in driving organic and paid social media traffic
- You have experience in a Commerce Manager (Meta)
- You can think outside the box
- You have a tireless positive attitude
- You have a high level of marketing messaging understanding
- You have strong copywriting and planning skills with attention to detail
- You are proficient in Digital and Social Media content management tools
- You have excellent written British English
What You'll Get:
